BNEA – In Partnership with The Bahamas Government to Deliver Next-Generation Public Services
We partnered with the Bahamas Government to build BNEA, a seamless digital hub for instant news, emergency alerts, and public interaction.

Project Overview
The Bahamas News & Emergencies App (BNEA) is a unified mobile and web platform developed in collaboration with the Government of The Bahamas to bring verified news updates, emergency notifications, civic polls, business news, and public advisories together in one accessible, citizen-centric hub. With BNEA, the Government of The Bahamas now has a powerful digital channel to communicate directly with communities across all islands.

Why The Bahamas Government Needed BNEA
Before the development of BNEA, citizens relied on multiple fragmented channels for essential updates. The government sought a trusted digital solution capable of delivering timely, verified information while encouraging community participation.

Real-Time News Delivery
Citizens needed a reliable and concise digital source for up-to-date national news. The existing channels were fragmented, making it difficult for users to verify the accuracy and timeliness of information.

Equal Accessibility Across Islands
The solution had to support users of all ages, languages, and locations across The Bahamas. With communities spread over multiple islands, the platform needed to operate smoothly even in low-connectivity areas.

Emergency Alert Integration
A stable alert system was required for hurricanes, public health updates, and urgent national notifications. Delays or inconsistencies in alerts could directly impact citizen safety and national preparedness.

Stronger Civic Engagement
The government aimed to create a digital channel for polls, opinions, and public input. Without an accessible feedback mechanism, decision-makers lacked real-time insights into citizen priorities.

Delivering a Government‑ Grade Civic Platform
Drawing on our experience in building enterprise-grade applications for public sector collaboration, we partnered closely with government stakeholders to design and deliver BNEA a robust, scalable, and compliant platform built for national reach and public trust. A dedicated cross-functional team was assigned to define core requirements, analyze citizen needs, and map user journeys
