Project Overview
The Bahamas News & Emergencies App (BNEA) is a unified mobile and web platform developed in collaboration with the Government of The Bahamas to bring verified news updates, emergency notifications, civic polls, business news, and public advisories together in one accessible, citizen-centric hub. With BNEA, the Government of The Bahamas now has a powerful digital channel to communicate directly with communities across all islands.

Real-Time News Delivery
Citizens needed a reliable and concise digital source for up-to-date national news. The existing channels were fragmented, making it difficult for users to verify the accuracy and timeliness of information.

Equal Accessibility Across Islands
The solution had to support users of all ages, languages, and locations across The Bahamas. With communities spread over multiple islands, the platform needed to operate smoothly even in low-connectivity areas.

Emergency Alert Integration
