We are looking for a meticulous and skilled QA Engineer who can handle both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying bugs, and working closely with the development team to resolve issues. Your expertise in both manual and automated testing will be crucial in maintaining the high standards of our applications.

Skills

• Proficient in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or similar.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Design: Develop and document comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing based on product requirements and specifications.
• Manual Testing: Perform detailed manual testing on web and mobile applications, including functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing, to identify and document bugs and issues.
• Automation Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar frameworks to improve test efficiency and coverage.
• Defect Tracking: Log defects, track their progress, and ensure their resolution in collaboration with the development team using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Test Execution: Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, and report on the quality of the software, ensuring that it meets the acceptance criteria.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand the requirements, resolve issues, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance test efficiency, accuracy, and coverage.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of test procedures, results, and any issues encountered during the testing process.
